Global Learning Courses

With over 200 courses to choose from, Florida International University allows each student to experience what it means to be a global student. Taking these courses expands student's understanding of the world as they learn to think in an interdisciplinary way, approaching new problems with modern solutions.

Global Engagement

Students are encouraged to take part in global engagements that will prepare them for the world beyond their education. From meeting foreign dignitaries to leading organizations to victories, our students experience it all.

CAPSTONE Experience

The Capstone experience is a unique way in which students can become involved with the global community through several methods. Students can take on the task of carrying out research on an international issue or concern, can continue their studies in a foreign country through study abroad programs, or enhance their skills and abilities through an internship geared towards a global understanding of a particular industry.

Global Learning Medallion Reflection

The reflection allows students to think back on all of their experiences and to understand what about those interactions made them unique and important. The reflection provides students with the ability to understand just how vital their path towards becoming a global citizen really means.
