When working for an all woman owned multinational corporation there are various skills that one must learn to develop in order to be a contributing member of the company. When entering the workforce through an internship a certain level of skill is expected to be developed throughout the course of the internship. Of these skills are the building of group dynamics and communication skills with those in your division or department as well as with your superiors who need constant update reports on ongoing projects.

Group Dynamics is a skill that is not only necessary, but a useful tool in a worker and global leader's arsenal of skills. Working in a company that operates in all fifty states and has workers across multiple countries the ability to work with different kinds of peoples and how to utilize each team member's abilities to the fullest. This of course also goes hand in hand with the ability to be a great communicator. This is another skill that is indispensable as a global leader and worker.

Learning to communicate with the different kinds of people in the company was a great asset for my development as well as that of any others that joined the company at the same time that I did. The greatest development in this skill in a firm of this magnitude is that while working with members of our team in Latin American countries one must learn to adapt their understanding of the Spanish language. Even as a bilingual it was a difficult time learning to understand the various kinds of dialects from the different countries that my team mates originated from. Having undergone this transition in understanding and in communication methods I can now say with certainty that if you have the opportunity to develop your communication skills in this way, do not hesitate to do so.
